New Horizon is a beautiful wooden Tallship. She is built in Tasmanian hard wood which makes her very strong. She is very roomy and has a large wooden galley with a big half-round table for entertainment. The boat is newly built and only started taking it's first passengers in June 2001.

This trip guarantees classical sailing in style and offers as well excellent snorkelling and diving.

All cruises offer the perfect blend of sailing and snorkeling and diving the reefs of the Whitsunday Islands.

Dives can be booked on board.

Sail the best locations in the Whitsunday. You will visit the amazing 6km long Whitehaven Beach with it's white squeaky silica sand. You will be able to laze on many a white sandy beach and have guided bushwalks of the interior of the islands.

 

Rough example Itinerary (can vary due to weather conditions etc):
Day one: Nara inlet on Whitsunday island
Day two: Whitehaven beach and Hill Inlet and snorkelling and diving at top of Hook Island.
Day three: Snorkelling at blue pearl bay

Environmental Management Charge ( $13.50) which includes entry to Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Entry to National Park Fee, Marina Fee, Oil Levy, Administration Fees, and Compulsory Stinger Suite Hire ($10)

For scuba dives if you are 55 or over you would need a Australian Queensland dive medical certificate. If you have had asthma in the last 5 years then you should have a dive medical. And if you can dive or not is still dependant on the captain's opinion of your health.
